1. blurred or double vision
2. jerky eye movements
3. crossed and unfocused eyes
4. red, itchy or teary eyes
5. frequent head tilting
6. closing or blocking one eye when reading
7. face to close to desk surface
8. difficulty copying from the board
9. headaches
10. reduced performance - reading well but slowly
11. discomfort, fatigue
12. loses place often when reading
13. needs finger or marker to keep place
14. too frequently omits small words
15. rereads or skips lines unknowingly
16. writes up and down hill on paper
17. displays short attention span in reading or copying
18. confuses same word in same sentence
19. reverses letters and/or words in writing and copying
20. returns to "drawing with fingers" to decide likes and differences
21. whispers to self for reinforcement while reading silently
